Violin + Vinyasa: Live Music Yoga

Violin + Vinyasa is a special slow-flow yoga experience led by Kailin and accompanied by exquisite live music from Abington Heights High School Honors Orchestra members Roman Donnelly and Aiden Covell. Surrounded by candlelight, you’ll move through a peaceful, thoughtfully paced vinyasa flow as live violin and cello fill the room, creating a practice that feels immersive, grounding, and a little bit magical! Expect a beautiful balance of mindful movement, breath, and moments of stillness, all woven together with the warmth and energy of live string instrumentals. This evening is also a celebration of young local musicians and the incredible talent growing within our own community. Roman Donnelly is a junior violinist involved in the Abington Heights Honors Orchestra and Honors Choir, the NEPA Philharmonic Mentoring Program, Marywood University Orchestra, Scranton Shakespeare Pit Orchestra, and several other local music programs.  Aiden Covell is a senior cellist and member of the Abington Heights Orchestra, Honors Orchestra, and Honors Choir, with extensive experience performing in pit orchestras for both school and regional musical productions, as well as with Marywood University and the NEPA Philharmonic Mentoring Program.

We’re so excited to bring yoga and live music together in a way that supports these talented young artists, creates meaningful community connection, and gives students the opportunity to share their music in a completely unique setting. Come move, listen, unwind, and experience what happens when movement, music, and community meet.
